The Carpinteria Valley Museum of History seeks volunteers to serve as Museum docents. A dedicated group of volunteers opens the Museum to the public five days a week, answers visitors’ questions, gives tours, and makes gift shop sales. The Museum provides individual training as well as a docent handbook for personal study of local history. The Museum is open to the public from Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
As few as a couple of hours per month will be helpful, so please consider joining the Museum's volunteer family! We also welcome high school and college students seeking internship or community service hours.
For these or other volunteer opportunities, please call the Museum, Tuesday through Friday (805) 684‑3112 or email email@example.com.
